Lessons at Heritage Riding are generally 30, 40 or 60 minutes in duration. Many of our young riders ride once a week, or up to 5 times a week depending on their training aspirations.
Heritage Riding teaches children from 5 years of age. Lessons are taught with patience, understanding, enthusiasm and firmness from their Instructor.
Group lessons consist of 2-6 riders of similar skill level. This allows each rider to receive social interaction and support from peers and each other. It also keeps things fun and interesting.
All riders, including those more advanced and experienced, are given an "Assessment Lesson" on their first visit to access the best way to progress with a program thereafter.

They then progress on to riding without the help of leaders, steering on their own in walk and trot and later Canter.
Giddy’ Up Club provides 50 minutes of horse fun, including a riding lesson with horseback games, and horsemanship lesson.
Following the introductory Giddy’ Up Club, riders progress to the structured riding programs. Structured Riding Programs are generally 30, 40 or 60 minutes in duration, where riders are placed into group lessons of between 2 – 6 riders according to age and experience. This allows students to benefit from the social interaction with their peers and learn from our experienced qualified instructors while utilizing Heritage Ridings range of higher educated School Master Horses.
Giddy Up Club Lessons are held Tuesday through to Saturday starting from 3.30 onwards on weekdays and 11.15 onwards on Saturdays. To see our price list click here. To book call us on 0451 982 669 or Contact Us.
More Advanced or Experienced riders are also given an "Assessment Lesson" and then placed into a group that is suitable to their level. These riders can then progress to a more systematic approach to training at a more competitive level on the Flat or in Jumping.
Our Qualified Instructors and selection of Schoolmaster Horses up to FEI Dressage and Jumping can provide you with a plan to get you achieving your goals.
