Heritage Riding was established over 30 years ago and has since become one of the largest, most comprehensive Equestrian Centres and Riding Schools in Australia Today.
With 2 full-time and 2 part-time instructors, 26 school master horses, a large indoor arena, outdoor arena and 32 acres with an extensive cross country course, and most important of all – a spotless safety record and full insurance coverage.
The school offers both Equestrian Federation of Australia (EFA) and British Horse Society (BHS) qualified instructors. Heritage Riding is both a riding school and competition training centre for all levels. Catering for the complete beginner rider child/adult through to the competition rider competing in Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing.
Heritage Riding, located 30 minutes from Brisbane and 45 minutes from the Gold Coast, is in the suburb of Thornlands, in the Redland Shire.
We operate from Tuesday-Saturday and during school holidays.
Along with our full-time instructors and part-time Instructors, we are often lucky enough to bring in highly qualified coaches such as Olympian, Christopher Burton.
Located on 32 acres between Brisbane & Gold Coast, the indoor arena, outdoor arena & cross-country course, including water complex guarantee a memorable experience. No matter what the weather offers – rain, hail or shine, you can always ride!
Heritage Riding would not be what it is today without its fantastic School Master Horses/Ponies. These ponies are the Qualified Instructor’s "Right Hand Man", and many of them have been doing this job for a very long time!!
Our team of 26 school master horses can teach the "total beginner" through to the Competition Level Rider wanting to learn the higher school movements like flying changes, canter pirouettes, piaffe/passage, or jump a metre fence.
